Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride is the title of their debut album, released on November 6, 2009 through The Anti-Machine Machine / EMI Music in Australia. The Black Ryder was formed in 2007 by Aimee Nash (Vocals / Guitar / Keyboards / Percussion) and Scott Von Ryper (Vocals / Guitar / Bass / Keyboards / Percussion) after their exit from Australian band, The Morning After Girls.
The Black Ryder is a duo that experiment with psychedelic / shoegaze / alternative sounds. They remind the guitars of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club but with the troubling, pure and enveloping Nash's voice.
I picked Gone Without Feeling but the entire album is just excellent, even the melancholy western song Sweet Come Down.
